I love it my hight school go there for band camp and there a lot of walking but it build respect

The college is borderline harassing me with barely audible phone calls muttering "college" and "merit scholarships". When you're about to be a college student in pile of student loans, such calls are extremely misleading and a complete waste of time.

Contrary to popular belief there are police and security that patrol constantly .. now do they always bust people maybe not but why would they .. let the college kids live the college experience to the fullest. The dooms are very nice and spacious my friend lives in the lowest priced one and it's nicer then any schools I've seen. All the students are super friendly and close. Everyone I talked to was so nice and I don't understand where these other comments are coming from. I'm not sure how the classes are or teachers but my friend struggles academically and she said she gets a lot of help. This school is for me it's a nice small school kinda isolated from everything else .. everyone here is like family. Oh and the food is good too!

I'm not sure how they got information on me, but they neither offer any majors that I'm interested in nor do they appear to offer any programs that have any status in the real world.

My friend goes to this college. As like most colleges everyone will have a different opinion on it.. here are some facts that u should know

I usually don't write reviews about anything but people need to know that this school is horrible in almost every aspect and the faculty and students in charge of orientation/tours mislead you. During your campus visits and registration/orientation, they sell the school as one happy tight-knit community with great opportunity to excel academically and socially. This is not the case at all. For one, most of the teachers for only having 10-20 students per class, don't reach out to the students if they struggle. It isn't as personal and friendly of an atmosphere as should be expected in a small school (800 full-time students.) Also, the cliques are absolutely ridiculous. There are only 3 sororities and 5 fraternities yet if you belong to any of them, you think you're better than anyone who remains independent. The independents think the same, vice versa. There are a lot of drugs on this campus and nothing ever gets done about it. There also have been numerous rapes just in my 1 year of attending the college.. Nothing is ever done about it. I could go on, but I'll just leave it at this: The school doesn't care enough to hire professors/security that won't sleep with or do drugs, drink, etc. with their students, they don't care about their students getting a proper education, and they don't care about their student's well-being. All Bethany College cares about is MONEY. And the education you receive there is not worth the 35K you spend a year. I'm glad I transferred, as most of the students who go there do.

Bethany College has been everything I could have ever hoped for and more in a school! I grew up in a small town and was nervous for the “big-time” college atmosphere. Choosing such a small school made the adjustment much simpler. The small class sizes, attentive professors, and the opportunity to network through my sorority are only a few reasons that I am a proud Bethanian! On numerous occasions I have been invited to professors’ homes for classes, networking experiences, and just to show how much they care for their students. I have always been heavily involved in volunteer work…or so I thought. When I came to Bethany and joined my sorority I was amazed and proud to see how involved in philanthropic efforts the students, and specifically the Greeks are at Bethany. Even more important are the real hands on experiences that Bethany offers you. The campus is small enough that you’re eligible to get involved in things right away. I’m only a junior and I am the Operations Manager of the radio station on campus. I have two work study jobs where I have true experience both working in my major and in the high paced work environment that I will becoming a part of in only two more short semesters. I can never fully express how honored I am to be a part of this history everyday and how proud I am, and will always be, to tell people that I go to Bethany College!
